Associate - Operations Analyst


Reporting to the Vice President – Life Science Properties, the Operations Analyst will provide broad operations support to the Life Science Estates team. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Corporate Support

  • Assist with MMR preparation to include occupancy tracking and leasing pipeline tracking
  • Assist with Board package preparation and other quarter-end reporting
  • Assist with property tax appeal tracking and related refunds
  • Assist with budget preparation analysis to include property taxes, insurance, SPP analysis, and leasing assumptions
  • Track PMA contracts
  • Assist with ad-hoc requests from other teams

Asset Management Support

  • Assist with review and fine-tuning of M-Files documents
  • Prepare and update lease abstracts for each tenant for use by Accounting, Asset Management, and Leasing
  • Assist with quarterly risk assessment and impairment analysis preparation
  • Assist with collection and tracking of portfolio-wide property information; i.e. roof status reports, annual Capital Asset Management and Operations expense tracking
  • Assist with portfolio contact management process

Leasing Support

  • Provide administrative support to leasing Vice Presidents
  • Pull relevant lease documents and abstracts, select lease analysis, and provide updated expiration schedules
  • Assist with preparation of budget leasing assumptions and lease commission tracking
  • Support Vice Presidents/Brokers with construction meeting coordination, pre-tour coordination and marketing


  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
  • Minimum 0-2 years of relevant work experience
  • Basic understanding of accounting, finance, and real estate concepts
  • Resourceful and flexible team player who excels at building trusting relationships with colleagues, clients, and vendors
  • Strong proficiency of MS Office Suite and other computer programs as needed
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks
