Vice President - Business Development

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Position duties include but are not limited to:

  • Drive business development and promote HCP’s brand name in the Medical Office sector by working with senior management and acquisitions team to identify and develop key health system and hospital relationships, develop and maintain strategic account plans, and also serve as main interface for certain relationships
  • Source acquisition and development deals and penetrate new markets
  • Segment strategic customers to maximize efficiency and opportunity; examining risks and potentials; analyzing operator’s needs and objectives
  • Increase HCP’s presence at conferences and  industry events,  ensuring adequate HCP representation and facilitating key meetings with new and existing customers; establish HCP brand name through marketing collateral and advertisements in key industry publications and at sponsored events for the Medical Office team
  • Schedule offsite business development meetings and create and coordinate marketing events to develop, maintain and foster strategic relationships
  • Develop and maintain online tracking systems for customer communications
  • Analyze potential new business opportunities by analyzing market trends, competitive landscapes, customer needs / deal requirements; facilitating internal priorities, resources and requirements

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

This highly visible position will be filled by an executive with drive and energy, market-driven orientation, hands-on experience with strategic and business development, highly effective verbal and written communications skills, and the organizational ability to achieve results.

  • Minimum of 10 year’s healthcare real estate business development and/or investment experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate or related field
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in leading efficient and effective marketing and account development approaches/processes involving planning and executing
